My latest obsession?
OWLS.
Check out this cutie that I picked up at World Market.
This hand-painted guy was a Goodwill find a couple of years ago.
These two miniature owls are Goebel (W Germany).
Won them on eBay.
And then I purchased this necklace recently on amazon.
It was a promotional item for $2 (and free shipping)!
I wore it last week with a plain black shirt ~ and got a lot of
compliments.
I hang some of my longer necklaces over a lamp...
I am crushing on this owl cookie jar from Pier 1 Imports,
but at $40, I'll have to pass.

Hi Melanie, all your owls are very nice, they look so wise :) I saw on a contest on HGTV.com that there is a free printable of a David Bromstead owl print. You might like it.
ReplyDeleteSo you are done with that job that has been no fun for a long time? You know I quit work in 2009 and it has been tough financially a few months but most of the time, it has not been nearly as hard as I first thought it would be.
Anyway, I am glad you won't be going back there. Going to a miserable job when you are a homebody is just heartbreaking.
