When it looks like this outside...
gray, bare trees, snowy...
It's time for something warm, filling, and comforting.
In this case, vegetarian chili.
I like my chili topped with shredded cheddar cheese, with a side of warm cornbread.
Or, perhaps you'd care for a plate of baked ziti with mozzarella and fresh spinach?
Those are a couple of the dishes I made for dinner last week. What's been cooking in your house?
Could we have the recipe for that chili? It does look delish.:)
ReplyDeleteIt looks the same here. Your so right!
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing better than a big pot of soup or chili. It looks soooo good! Enjoy!
Yummy looking food! This evening we had Xmas left overs -- a casserole of turkey, dressing and gravy served with green beans and mashed potatoes .... and cranberry sauce, of course. Very warming!
ReplyDeleteThis all sounds absolutely delicious. I'm a vegetarian so it is nice to see something without meat :)
ReplyDeleteYummy! I love chili and cornbread. Can I pull up a chair? I have not made any chili this winter and should put that on my menu soon.
ReplyDeleteI am a little jealous of your snow over our rain.
Can you share the recipe for the baked ziti? I love things with spinach in them.
Hugs from Holland ~

Yes, I would care for some!

Not much of anything being cooked around here. I have a protein shake at supper. But I sure grew up on big skillets of cornbread!

Stay warm!
