"Life is short and we have never too much time for gladdening the hearts of those
who are traveling the dark journey with us. Oh be swift to love, make haste to be
kind." (Henri Frederic Amiel, 19th century Swiss philosopher and poet)
Knowing my love my for stitched hearts and that I don't sew, out of the kindness and
generosity of HER heart, I received these beautiful hearts in the mail yesterday
from Carol of Art and Sand.
Look at the detail in every one of these beauties...
I have them displayed in a wire basket on my kitchen table.
Aren't they just perfect in my home?
I hope that everyone's hearts are filled with love today ~ whether from a friend,
a family member, a beloved pet, or even a stranger. And don't forget to spread
a little of that love around yourself.
They are adorable! My favorite is the ladybug, though they are all so darn cute.
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteYou displayed them so much cuter than I did.
ReplyDeleteI really wasn't sure if the colors would be right, but they look cute on your table.
Thanks for the shout out.
I am writing my post for a Valentine party at

The colors are perfect. I actually got on the ball this morning and wrote my blog post. Thanks for the link at the Valentine party!

DeleteThe quote expressed for me what you bloggers do for us, we with whom you share your life's moments. [Try as I may, I cannot get rid of the fish] So, I, Rinske, thank you for sharing your love.

I love hearts, too. At one time, I had a stenciled heart border all around my bedroom!
DeleteLoving your hearts from Carol, just a pretty variety. I enjoyed making hearts for Valentines this year, and I think I'm hooked. You are so lucky to have such great blog friends.....I'm jealous (just kidding). If anything I learned this last year is that life is certainly short, so we must enjoy every moment!
ReplyDeleteI do indeed feel blessed to have some wonderful blogging friends...it's amazing the people you can meet (and I've met several in person!) through this venue.
DeleteWhat a sweet gift...so charming!
ReplyDeleteI agree - thanks, Linda.
