We could not ask for more beautiful weather lately. It is perfect.
On my way to my doctor's appointment this morning, the words I wrote above
in haiku form played in my mind. And then on my way home, I saw this view
and pulled over to the side of the road to snap the photo with my phone.
This horse farm is just a couple of miles from my house. I feel blessed to
live in such a beautiful area. Hope your weekend is filled with sunshine!
That is very pretty, Melanie. We are blessed by a God who gave us such beauty to enjoy. I am glad that you stopped to enjoy the moment. It looks like we are going to have some rain here in the Pacific NW but I can't complain.

DeleteHow nice, Melanie. I love your haiku! I write them in my head all the time. I'm glad you enjoy writing them too. I hope all went well with the doctor and that you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Jennifer.
DeleteWe too ( Western Pa ) are finally having a spell of perfect spring weather / you have honored it wonderfully with your haiku! :)
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks, Deb!
DeleteYour Haiku sums it up pretty well... We really should look around and see the beauty right here in our own backyard.Wish I could bottle the scent of Lily in the Valley.
ReplyDeleteBalisha
Absolutely! I love that scent, too.
DeleteBeautiful photo; lovely sentiment! May I use it sometime?
ReplyDeleteOf course, Sandy! :-)
DeleteHi Melanie - thanks for stopping by via Jane and leaving such a nice comment.
DeleteLove that you write Haiku (have a dear close friend who does also), and today's words are perfect with the stunning pic of the Springtime pasture.
Enjoy the holiday - here in the southeast the days have been perfect - all the better for Jane and The Husband's visit. We had a fun time when they stopped in Raleigh.
Mary
I write all different types of poetry! I'm so glad you you had a great time with Jane and her husband.
DeleteSounds like a beautiful day, and a perfect place to spend and reflect upon it. I love those rare days of beauty. And of course I will put you on the list.
