Hello! Yes, I am still out here in Blogland. Haven't given up completely on blogging just yet. Like a lot of bloggers lately, I am mostly on Instagram.
This is just a quick post for now, as I have a new laptop and for whatever reason, I'm not able to sign into Blogger. I can't upload my photos on here, nor can I comment on other blogs that use Blogger. Not even as Anonymous! I have googled and tried everything, with no luck. I even posted my problem in a Blogger forum board and noone there was able to help either. I'm using Chrome as my browser, I have third party cookies enabled, I'm not in incognito mode.
The latest ~ and most important news around here ~ is that our precious Clementine crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on November 11. She was 15-1/2 years old and had battled Chronic Kidney Disease for seven years. The vet that came to our house to help her peacefully transition said that she was the longest-living kitty she knew of with kidney disease. I remember when she was diagnosed in December 2017, the vet said she'd probably only live another 1-1/2 years. I wish I could post some of my favorite photos of her on this post. We sure miss her. The house seems so empty and quiet.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my US friends. Hope you all have a peaceful and love-filled day.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Melanie. You obviously took very good care of her and she was soooo loved. Their absence is huge, when we lose our beloved pets.
ReplyDeleteI have no advice for how to solve your blogging problems! That is so weird. It's good to hear from you, though, and I hope you and Brian have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your mom and aunt!
Melanie, I'm so sorry you're not able to post pictures here of your darling Clementine. Hopefully someone can help you solve this and you can add them later. I know what a huge hole she has left in your home and heart. So many happy memories but so much grief over her passing. A beautiful Thanksgiving Day to you and Brian!
ReplyDeleteI bought a new Dell laptop weeks ago and couldn't get it to work right. My nearly 21 year old grandson came over and quickly got it going for me.

Hi Melanie!
ReplyDeleteIt was so nice to see your post on my blog feed. I too have had major issues uploading photographs to my posts. I can load them, however, they don't center like I want them to. As you know, I use a different commenting system on my Blogger blog because the Blogger one never seemed to work properly. Very temperamental.
I'm so sorry to hear about Clementine. It's so hard losing a pet because they become like family members. Especially after 15 1/2 years. I had two cats at once that lived until they were 20. It was so hard when they passed. I still miss them.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
I'm so sorry you're having trouble with your blog, Melanie, but I'm glad you were able to post a quick catch up. My heart and condolences go out to you for your loss. Clementine was certainly a special kitty. Big hugs my friend...and Happy Thanksgiving you, too.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and your sweet family a happy Thanksgiving. Big Hugs. Kris
