autumn is on its way...

Goldenrod is in bloom...

The water is reflecting the slight change of color in the trees...

The skies are heavy with clouds and the stillness of the lake beckons cooler winds...

If you listen closely, you can hear the bullfrogs.

My Black-Eyed Susans are drying up...

The cucumber plant is past its prime...

And the grass is littered with fallen, dried leaves.

  18. I've been away for 5 days but saw Brenda's post on Welcome Friday so thought I would pop over.

Clementine sure is a cutie. I guess she knew where to go when she needed some TLC in her condition. :) I have a few outside kitties that I feed daily -- Kuwait is overrun with cats in the street due to folks buying them as kittens and then putting them out when they tire of them. Just breaks my heart.

I took the tour of your living room and just LOVE all the small framed pieces below the window. My walls are FULL. My husband never thinks I can fit anything else on them, but where there's a will there's a way.

Hope you are having a great week. Best wishes, Tammy
