It started out like this. A skinny, ugly brown, unassuming side table. Found at Goodwill for $2.99.
But after some sanding and a few coats of red spray paint, the table was now transformed into a thing of beauty.
At first, the little red table was going to be used in the backyard as the base for a homemade bird bath.
But instead, the little red table found its way inside, into the kitchen. Will it stay there? Or will it end up somewhere else tomorrow? No matter where the little red table ends up, it will always bring a bit of cheer to those who gaze upon it. After all, red is the color of beauty in many languages.
Humm...you got that for $2.99???? I love it and think your kitchen is the perfect place for your sweet red table. I need to see more of your kitchen as I have decided I am making your teapot wallhanger but not sure what colors to use. I meant to email you over the weekend but will try to do so yet this week.....

OK, Heidi, I will have to take more pics of my kitchen for my blog. You're really going to make me a teapot wallhanger?! Oh my goodness, I am SO excited! Yes, please email me privately. A big hug back to you, my friend.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this little red table. It's a good thing that I don't live closer or it would have to come home with me! Thank you for you sweet comment on my site. You are really a wonderful friend to have!
