These are the kinds of conversations I always wish to have with others but so seldom do.

And your new coffee shop looks like one I'd enjoy, like dropping in at a friend's house. Of course not liking coffee, my choices are always more of a dessert drink that actual coffee. Like eating coffee ice cream, a favorite of mine.

I have 2 more books in the stack of old Cape Cod novels I like to read during the hot days of July and August that I read in bed at night, and I'm almost finished with Alexander McCall Smith's What W. H. Auden Can Do For You, and will be reading for another month probably on a big book about Nancy Lancaster that I read each morning at breakfast. Oh, and almost finished with a book that Anderson Cooper's father wrote about his family history.

Our weather forecast for this week looks to be one of our hottest so far this summer so I may get lots of reading done staying cool inside. Time enough for gallivanting around when fall comes.Dewenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07330797553600987145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6201144666881866355.post-86954188306990647462019-08-09T23:13:38.537-07:002019-08-09T23:13:38.537-07:00I guess I'm just cheap. I can make a whole pot for less than the price of a coffee shop cup.
I'm reading, The Beantown Girl's by Jane Healey and If You Change Your Words It Will Transform Your Life by Adam Houge.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6201144666881866355.post-26871996510047741182019-08-09T19:43:29.362-07:002019-08-09T19:43:29.362-07:00What a charming little coffee shop. It looks like the perfect spot for a nice long chat with a friend. There are a couple of independent coffee shops that I love to go to, but neither is right here in town. In fact, as big as our town is, I'm surprised we don't have our own. Currently I'm reading The Salt Path by Raynor Winn. I picked it up at the library, totally taken in by the cover. So far it's an interesting story.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09147413132595250490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6201144666881866355.post-39812742886840113322019-08-08T18:55:42.494-07:002019-08-08T18:55:42.494-07:00Those are two of my favorite things, too.
